This tool is awesome. I got it in yesterday and immediately took it into my shop to play with it. Its works so beautifully due to it size, It allows you to get in those tight spaces and blend and move the clay with ease. I need some more now... NOLAN!! I need some bigger sizes and some with a bent tip too! Again, another beautifully crafted tool and I can't wait to expand my collection with Nolan again.

I love writing a reviews, when I really love a product and I need to write one for every tool I have purchased from Nolan. This specific tool is another tiny (sorry micro) rake I purchased, and I can't recommend these tools enough (any of Nolan's tools, really). I need to finish getting this set... like seriously. Besides the blatantly obvious being well-built, strong, super fine craftsmanship and quality, this specific tool is a must-have. You can get into those really tight areas and really refine those small shapes. It's also great for raking down small pieces and miniatures. I like using these for adding a skin texture as well. I've said it once and I'll shout it again and again, if you sculpt/ model in clays or waxes or hybrids of the two, you have to get your hands on some of his tools. You won't be disappointed, and I firmly believe that if you treat them right, you'll be able to pass these tools down through the generations. They're well worth the price and the kid-waiting-for Christmas-morning-anticipation. Thank you so much, Nolan!
This this will move the clay beautifully and quickly. The shape of the rake is great too for keeping the large forms organic. The shallow teeth on it are especially nice, one because it means I don't have to alter the rake like I and other sculptors usually do when we have gotten large rakes from other manufactures but two because the teeth don't over score the surface of the sculpture which then requires more refining, tooling, and overall more work. My new favorite rake for large pieces.
